Ruben Schneiderman is a filmmaker and photojournalist based in the Twin Cities. They graduated from Macalester College with a degree in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Arabic. As a photojournalist for KSTP News in Minnesota,  and as the arts and culture videographer and editor for the Southampton TV Station, they have experience producing high-quality segments, packages, and stories on a short timeline. Working in Media Production at Minnesota Public Radio, Ruben has honed their skills in producing, directing, and editing visual and audio content. Aside from their professional work, Ruben has many creative and experimental projects. Their documentary, "When You Ask Me About The Memories..." explores LGBTQ Memory and its relation to loss and grief as a means of political motivation. Ruben mixes their research experience with their storytelling methodology to think critically about the politics and weight of each part of their films.

I would love to discuss how my creative skills can benefit your projects, businesses, and ideas. I have experience with videography, editing, interviewing, pre/post-production, team management, graphic design, writing, and more.
